I have a bunch more to post... But one vendor that stands out to me, I would like to recommend... I have had the pleasure of working with Don & Sue a few times this past year at Weddings... The crowds loved them, they were like a wedding director/DJ/Dance Instructor... ALL IN ONE!

I am sure the other available DJs with this company are just as wonderful, however I have 1st hand experience with Don & Sue Fowler

Thank You Antoinette!

"From: antoinette.wiley@yahoo.com

Thank you so much Kim!  I can't even begin to tell you how thankful I am that you were able to be our photographer.  We had so many wonderful comments about you!

We are actually just finishing up our packing now and we leave for england on Friday.  We will have internet access through our labtop so we are extremely excited to
see them!  You did an amazing job.
I hope all goes well with the planning of your wedding!  I wish you all of the luck in the world.  I was a little stressed out and emotional that day, so i do apologize : )

Thank you again, and we look forward to hearing from you!

Take Care

Antoinette & Denny"

Melissa & Mark Wedding March 22nd
Thank You Melissa!

"From: mpetrov3@jhmi.edu

Kim,
I wanted to contact you and see when you'd like to drop off the CD's and to tell
you that I've received a million and one compliments on the album.  In fact, I
gave your info to one of the medical students who has two girlfriends getting
married and looking for photographers.  I don't know their names, but they know
yours!  Thanks again for all of your hard work, I'm very pleased!

Melissa
...

Thanks Kim, I received them.  I love the look of the case and the photo on the
CD's.  I have to tell you that you have pleasantly surprised me at every turn
with your services.  Thanks a ton!

Melissa"

Thank You Jenn!

"From: jennsangel@aol.com

Dear Kimberly,
Just wanted you to know that I attended Stephanie and Brandon's wedding on May 3 at Michaels, and it was one of the best weddings I have ever been to...And I think one of the reasons is that you were an awesome photographer and captured some great pictures. I have been to many weddings and never seen someone interact with the wedding and guest like you and your crew did! You were absolutely the best I have ever seen!!!!

Thank You,
Jenn (pink and black dress with flip flops)"

Hello...
I wanted to add this topic because over the last few years I have become quite the online specialists when it comes to selling, purchasing, & communicating!
Ebay, Price Grabber.... GOOD DEALS... BETTER DEALS... All the money you could save, why not take the chance... This is why...
An uninformed consumer may not be knowledgeable enough about a product they are purchasing, are not aware of possible scams that can be the difference of a easy sailing purchase and a nightmare that can tie up your money or create an overall loss!
I see this big time with Camera equipment, as I am always upgrading and am not too proud to say I spend quite some time looking for the best, safest deal!  As much as I type in amazon.com, I still research before clicking 'checkout!'
I am not going to get into too much detail about the scams and unhonest people & companies.... But unless you are meeting someone in person & have something in writing (contract) stating what you are promised for what you are paying (or a reciept)... There is only so much these companies like ebay, amazon.com, pricegrabber.com can do to protect you... So especially big purchases... DO YOUR HOMEWORK.  When I decide I am ready to purchase something I start price comparing (don't forget shipping & where you will and won't be charged tax-can be the difference of $100 or more on say a $1000 lens... Most companies only tax the state of which they do business!)  After I see that www.adorama.com has a lens for $1049.00... but four companies have the same lens priced at $849.00 with Free shipping!  Instinct.. Good Deal... CHECKOUT!!! NO NO NO... stop there...

GO TO... www.resellerratings.com  For example type in Broadway Photo... BAD Reviews Right.. well then type in www.bbb.com (check a business) type in Broadway Photo AGAIN... and see it does business under 15 differenet business names!  That only took 5 mins and probably would have saved someone alot of money and stress!  Or you can do an overall www.google.com search, many forums have already address issues and concerns you are encountering!

Most likely that super deal is the result of an item being used, advertising as new... or a refurbished item that may or maynot truely have the warranty of the manufacturer... Or a grey market item that may not meet USA standards, not have english manuals, not to mention will have to be shipped out of the country for warranty issues!

So bottem line, we all like to save money where we can, but if it is too good to be true... well, it probably is... However, anything is possible, just make sure you have seen some history giving you reason to trust a company!

www.Pictage.com

Tried it and didn't cut it.. this was one of the first sites I tried to use... Maybe I am missing something, but I was frustrated with the upload service, clients were not happy with the cost of prints (and I didn't even mark them up for profit)... Clients seems to be confused as the Host, overall... This was a Pain In The A$$ compared to the ease I have found with SmugMug!

I will pay the extra dollar when quality is at hand... However, I have found www.adorama.com www.mypublisher.com www.smugmug.com to be more then reasonable without substituting quality!

Well... I tried a few... as a Web Designer, I tried my own... Then I found www.smugmug.com !!!  What a wonderful site... especially for proofing!  I just ordered some prints & merchandise from them to be sure they have as high quality with Prints as well...

For the photographer... It is extremely user friendly, personable to your tastes & style... Basically as SIMPLE or complex as you like, with great results!

For the Clients... Very easy to browse... Many Options for ordering... Very Reasonable Pricing!

Check it out... www.smugmug.com
